Interface Options
User Interface
This option reduces the complexity of Smart Pix Manager by hiding many of the advanced functions, such as:
-Reduces file display modes to Large Thumbnails and full details
-Hides all toolbars except the main and multimedia (when shown multimedia files) toolbar
-Displays the simplified format selector (File>Supported Formats)
-Hides many other 'advanced' menu items
This option is recommended for users who have little experience with Smart Pix Manager and/or computers.
Specifies that large graphics should be used in toolbar buttons
If this option is set then toolbars will show a short caption on the left indicating their function
Allows you to specify the styling of the buttons and toolbar from common styles such as Windows or Office XP
If you do not want to use the default image background colors (Black in the Main Window and Navy in New Windows) then select this option and choose a new color (or two colors for a gradient fill)
This option allows you to choose whether and image and/or a caption should be displayed on the mode tabs
Smart Pix Manager provides three options for when you should be given an audible prompt:
-Never: Smart Pix Manager will run silently
-Beep on Error: Smart Pix Manager will only beep if an error is encountered (e.g. when a file cannot be deleted)
-Beep on Error or Completed Action: Smart Pix Manager will beep on error as well as when an action has been completed (e.g. when a description has been assigned to a batch of files or a set of files has been moved or deleted)
Screen Layout
This setting allows you to specify the layout of the Smart Pix Manager main window.
Toolbar Background
You can give your application a custom appearance by selecting an image to be displayed in the main toolbar areas by specifying it here. It will be tiled like Windows wallpaper beneath your toolbar buttons
